Reporting to the Director HR Services this role serves as a key administrator within the HR team crosstrained to support a variety of functions. Responsibilities include data entry in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS DayForce) booking travel for field and corporate employees supporting union onboarding administering benefits and providing general HR administrative support as needed.
This role is based in the Calgary office working a MondaytoFriday schedule. It is ideal for an experienced administrator who thrives in a dynamic environment enjoys learning multiple functions and takes pride in being the goto resource for the team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- HRIS Administration: Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
- Travel Coordination: Schedule and organize travel arrangements for both field and corporate employees including flights and accommodations
- Union Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding paperwork and preemployment testing for union employees ensuring all required documentation and processes are completed efficiently
- Benefits Administration: Provide vacation coverage in supporting employees with benefits enrollment changes and inquiries
- Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and maintain HRrelated documents ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- General HR Support: Provide administrative support across various HR functions such as assisting with business partners recruitment records keeping and preparing reports
- Other duties as assigned
Role Specifications:
- 5 years of administrative experience perhaps youve worked as a site or field administrator or within a busy construction office. Were looking for this type of experience we can train the HR functions
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Word is required: the ability to perform analysis using pivot tables and vlookup is an asset
- Flexibility in scheduling is necessary as occasional work outside of the regular set schedule will be required
