Customer Profiling Analyst

The Role

Trading Analysis are striving to become an industry leading analytics team delivering an exceptional standard of insight to drive strategy for Trading Senior leaders and stakeholders across all our Digital and Retail Groups.

As a Customer Profiling Analyst you will support the customer profiling teams by providing functional reporting insight into underlying drivers of emerging trends and assist with the automation of routine processes.

You will need to utilise strong technical and analytical skills alongside excellent domain knowledge to understand underlying trends and communicate these to the wider business driving solutions amidst the constant challenges and evolution of Sports Betting.

The ideal candidate will be motivated by problemsolving have demonstrable skills and experience within data analytics confidence working with a mix of business partners a strong numerical background and superb communication and presentation skills. 

Key Responsibilities

• Build and refine the reporting suite that supports the work of the customer profiling teams
• Conduct methodical deep dive investigations into underperforming areas of the business ultimately providing actionable insight
• Develop and maintain automated solutions to current processes freeing up resource to be used more efficiently
• Create and present reporting structures to monitor KPIs of the customer profiling and risk functions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand pressing issues providing adhoc datadriven solutions to support business decisions
• Identify recommend and implement improvements to existing analytics processes tools and techniques to assist reshaping the Trading Analysis function from reactive and taskbased to proactive and forwardlooking

Qualifications :

Essential

• Strong knowledge of the digital sportsbook sector in particular customer profiling and the drivers of customer behaviour
• Demonstratable data management skills with a strong Excel competence comfortable cleaning and preparing large and complex datasets to produce impactful insights
• Methodical and analytical approach to problem solving
• Ability to story tell and clearly articulate trends using data visualisation techniques to efficiently communicate key insights
• Willingness to upskill on the job with exposure to advanced analytics tools and capacity to learn programming languages
• Ability to communicate data insights to nontechnical audiences

Ideal

• Strong working knowledge of SQL for querying databases
• Experience utilising data visualisation and dashboarding tools such as PowerBI
