Senior Scientist III Biologics Analytical Development

The biologics characterization group develops stateoftheart analytical techniques for indepth characterization of therapeutic proteins and other novel biologic molecules using mass spectrometry and other advanced analytical techniques. Key Responsibilities

• Effectively function as a senior research scientist generating original technical ideas and research or development strategies.
• Demonstrate the ability to resolve key project hurdles and assumptions by effectively utilizing available information and technical expertise.
• Independently responsible for project science within his/her area of expertise on one or more project teams.
• Make significant contributions to project team and deliver results in a teamoriented setting and will work across scientific disciplines to drive programs through critical milestones.
• Proactively seek out new information in the literature and incorporate this into individual projects as well as the overall program.

Qualifications :

• Ph.D degree in Analytical Chemistry or a closely related discipline.  04 years of experience is required with relevant experience.
• Deep understanding of protein characterization by mass spectrometry (e.g. peptide mapping intact mass analysis).
• Practical experience and strong knowledge of protein HPLC (e.g. SEC IEX HIC) capillary electrophoresis and other separation techniques as applied to protein analysis
• Maintain a laboratory notebook in compliance with Good Laboratory/Manufacturing Practices.
• Demonstrate independent problemsolving ability in science and technical proficiency.
• Must possess a solid understanding of protein chemistry and biochemistry particularly as related to biologics drug development.
• Strong data and time organization/management skills coupled with strong interpersonal and effective communication skills for facilitating collaborations with a demonstrated ability to lead cross functional process development teams.
• Effective writer and communication of research or other regulatory materials.

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
