Employee Engagement: Encouraging employee involvement in safety programs and fostering an environment where staff feel comfortable reporting safety concerns.
Monitoring Operations: Observing work activities to ensure safe practices are being followed and intervening when necessary.
Monitoring Compliance: Ensuring that safety regulations and company policies are followed.
Conducting Inspections: Regularly inspecting the workplace for potential hazards and recommending improvements
Monitoring and tracking of closure UAUC and FLA findings
Continuous Improvement: Promoting a culture of continuous improvement in safety practices using feedback and data to enhance programs at Plant 1 and Plant 2.
Environmental Safety: Monitoring for environmental hazards ensuring waste disposal practices comply with regulations and promoting sustainable practices.
PPE Compliance: Ensuring that all workers are using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and that it is in good condition as per SIRIM DOSH standard.
Requirements
At least 3 years experience in as Safety Officer in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical turnaround construction or maintenance.
Experienced as a Safety & Health Officer in at least 3 major turnarounds.
NIOSH certified Qualified Safety & Health Officer (SHO).
