The Food & Beverage Supervisor at Quest Hotel Tagaytay is responsible for overseeing daily F&B operations ensuring exceptional service delivery and maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene. This role involves supervising staff coordinating with other departments and handling guest concerns to provide a memorable dining experience. The F&B Supervisor also supports staff training and contributes to achieving the departments financial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of all F&B outlets ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to hotel standards.
- Monitor the setup and cleanliness of dining areas ensuring readiness for service.
Team Supervision:
- Lead mentor and motivate the F&B team to maintain high performance and service quality.
- Assist in training new team members and conducting regular performance evaluations.
Guest Experience:
- Ensure prompt courteous and professional service to all guests.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints effectively to ensure satisfaction.
Coordination:
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. events housekeeping) to meet guest needs.
Inventory and Cost Control:
- Monitor stock levels of food beverages and supplies and coordinate with procurement to avoid shortages.
- Assist in managing budgets minimizing wastage and optimizing operational costs.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene standards in all F&B areas.
- Conduct regular checks to maintain a safe working environment for staff and guests.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare shift reports and assist in tracking sales expenses and other key metrics.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve F&B operations and service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Culinary Arts or a related field is an advantage.
- Proven experience as an F&B Supervisor or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setup.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations including service standards menu planning and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team in a fastpaced environment.
- Customerfocused with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications (MS Office).
- Knowledge of health safety and sanitation standards in F&B operations.
