Position: Occupational Therapist
Location: Lewiston ID
Salary Range: $78000.00 $117020.00 annually
Signing Bonus: $15000
Relocation Package: Full
Position Overview
HireNow Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our clients team in Lewiston ID. The ideal candidate will have previous acute care experience and a passion for helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. The position offers flexibility in scheduling a comprehensive signon bonus and relocation assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment:
- Assess the functional needs of physically disabled patients based on physician referral.
- Evaluate baseline levels of selfcare function cognitive function sensoryperceptualmotor function and activities of daily living (ADL).
- Establish measurable and realistic treatment outcome goals for patients.
- Treatment Planning & Implementation:
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patients condition and goals.
- Adjust treatment programs based on the patients clinical response to ensure maximum improvement.
- Provide dynamic care to meet the ongoing needs of patients.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Document all patient assessments goals and treatments accurately.
- Patient Care:
- Deliver occupational therapy treatments designed to improve selfcare and functional independence.
- Consider developmental status and agespecific needs when treating patients.
Qualifications & Requirements
MustHaves:
- Education:
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with at least a Bachelors degree.
- Licensure:
- Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Idaho (or eligible). Candidates may apply prior to graduation or receiving licensure.
- Certifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience:
- Previous acute care experience.
Schedule:
- Acute Rehab Unit: TuesdaySaturday (five 8hour shifts) or WednesdaySaturday (four 10hour shifts).
- Acute Rehab and Inpatient Units: Schedule will be split 50/50 between Acute Rehab Unit and Inpatient Units.
Shift Differentials:
- Evening Shift (3pm 11:30pm): 8%
- Night Shift (11:00pm 7:30am): 11%
- No weekend differential.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Based on experience from $78000.00 to $117020.00 annually.
- Signing Bonus: $15000.
- Relocation Assistance: Full relocation package available.
- Housing Allowance: Provided.
