As we continue to innovate and grow we are looking for a passionate and driven EV Design Intern to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of the next generation of electric vehicles.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic EV Design Intern who is eager to gain handson experience in the design and development of electric vehicles. In this role you will assist in designing and testing key components and systems for EVs including battery systems powertrains chassis and vehicle architecture. You will work closely with our engineering team gaining valuable insight into the EV design process and contributing to cuttingedge projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of EV systems and components such as battery management systems electric drivetrains and thermal management solutions.
Collaborate with the engineering team to create 3D models and CAD designs for vehicle components.
Conduct simulations and performance analysis of various EV components to assess their efficiency and reliability.
Participate in the testing and validation of EV components and systems.
Contribute to the integration of powertrain battery and electrical systems into vehicle designs.
Support research and development of new materials technologies and design methodologies for electric vehicles.
Assist in the creation of technical documentation including design specifications and test reports.
Stay updated on industry trends innovations and emerging technologies in the electric vehicle space.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Automotive Engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of vehicle design powertrains and electrical systems.
Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks CATIA or AutoCAD.
Knowledge of vehicle dynamics battery technology and electric vehicle systems.
Familiarity with simulation software (e.g. MATLAB Simulink or similar tools) is a plus.
Strong problemsolving abilities and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Passion for sustainable transportation and the electric vehicle industry.
