Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to an aged sick mother. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities providing companionship administering medication and ensuring the overall wellbeing and comfort of the elderly individual.
Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
Administer medication as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
Monitor and record vital signs symptoms and changes in health status.
Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental wellbeing.
Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry dishes and tidying up living spaces.
Accompany the elderly individual to medical appointments and help communicate with healthcare professionals.
Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by preventing falls and addressing any safety concerns.
Support the elderly individual with mobility assistance and exercise routines.
Keep family members informed about the elderly individuals health and wellbeing.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a caregiver preferably working with elderly or sick individuals.
Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices.
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards elderly individuals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and understanding when dealing with challenging situations.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully.
Certification in CPR and first aid is preferred.
Physical ability to assist with lifting bending and transferring the elderly individual.
Working Hours:
The working hours for this position may vary depending on the needs of the elderly individual. The caregiver may be required to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as necessary.
Salary:
The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Note: The caregiver will be expected to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of the elderly individual and their family at all times.
