Job Listing: PartTime Full Stack Developer ASP.NET / PIMS Lite System
Location: Remote (Within the EU)
Contract Type: PartTime Contractor (Average of 14 hours per week with flexibility for additional hours as needed)
Duration: 12 months (extendable based on business needs)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support and enhance the development of the PIMS Lite system a key project management and information management tool for our client in the public sector. The system built on ASP.NET and C# has been operational since June and continues to evolve under agile methodologies. This role offers the flexibility of parttime work while contributing to impactful development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop maintain and enhance the PIMS Lite system using ASP.NET and related technologies.
- Work closely with user teams to gather requirements and carry out business analysis to improve system functionality.
- Establish and manage DevOps CI/CD pipelines to enable multiple developers to collaborate efficiently.
- Create a readonly version of the PIMS Lite system hosted in a publicly accessible data centre ensuring security and accessibility.
- Set up and manage environments for PIMS Lite and PIMS Lite RO including data centres and cloudbased or VPS hosting solutions.
- Automate data synchronization between databases to ensure realtime updates for all stakeholders.
- Implement additional procedures to enhance data and system security.
- Provide full coverage for key ICT staff when required.
Required Skills and Experience
- Agile Methodologies: Proven experience with agile development and change management.
- Full Stack Development Expertise:
- ASP.NET .NET Framework .NET Core and C#.
- Frontend and backend integration for seamless performance.
- Database Management:
- Design development and maintenance of databases.
- Writing stored procedures and ensuring database security including disaster recovery planning.
- Testing: Experience with automated testing and UAT.
- DevOps: Expertise in integrating development and operations activities through DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Security Management: Strong knowledge of data and system security best practices.
- Network Management: Proficiency in setting up and managing network environments.
- Platform Expertise: Familiarity with cloud and VPS hosting solutions.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of additional ICT project management methodologies.
- Experience working with publicly accessible data centre systems.
