About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and strategic Personal Lines Senior Associate State Manager to drive profitable growth and customer satisfaction for personal auto home and umbrella insurance products. This role focuses on developing and executing pricing strategies staying current on industry trends and leading crossfunctional teams to achieve statespecific objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive premium growth and profitability for assigned states within the organizations footprint.
- Develop and implement short and longterm rate change and project roadmaps for assigned products.
- Stay informed on industry trends competitor actions and regulatory developments to inform product strategy.
- Lead initiatives to improve premium growth profitability and customer experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with crossfunctional teams including Actuarial Underwriting Claims Marketing Finance and Business Process.
- Lead a state team of actuarial and business insights analysts to execute strategic product and pricing plans.
- Prepare and present rate changes project updates and strategic plans to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
- Collaborate with Finance to develop annual financial plans and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Mathematics Statistics Actuarial Science Data Analytics Economics Finance or related quantitative fields.
- Experience:
- Minimum 35 years of experience in actuarial insurance product analytics or similar roles with increasing responsibilities.
- At least 12 years of experience as an entrylevel state manager or equivalent leadership role.
- Skills:
- Strong data analytics capabilities and problemsolving curiosity.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel databases and other Microsoft Office software.
- Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning in product management technology and industry developments.
