Job Description

The Process Engineer will play a crucial role in an aseptic and extendedshelflife beverage manufacturing company providing critical process engineering technical support to operations. This position presents an opportunity to significantly impact and influence the future of the organization. In this role the Process Engineer will assist in the planning design implementation and management of systems aimed at enhancing business objectives and operational performance. Responsibilities include developing processes and procedures for manufacturing and packaging performing validation evaluations and writing/executing validation protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design installation commissioning maintenance and improvement of low acid aseptic processes and equipment
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of plant equipment to achieve high standards of safety quality and productivity
  • Provide engineering support across all operational aspects including production quality maintenance and safety
  • Work closely with maintenance and OEMs to ensure efficient operations and troubleshoot process issues
  • Assist with process engineering and improvements in various areas including dairy receiving batching/blending and packaging equipment
  • Identify root causes of manufacturing deviations and apply corrective solutions
  • Ensure compliance with USDA and FDA regulations
  • Author documents such as preventive maintenance plans and validation protocols
  • Provide onsite support during process scaleup and customer launch

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Process Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required
  • 25 years of engineering experience preferred
  • Experience in aseptic processing or regulated environments (GMP FDA ISO OSHA USDA) preferred
  • Knowledge of dairy manufacturing processes preferred

Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Process Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required

  • 25 years of engineering experience preferred
  • Experience in aseptic processing or equivalent in regulated environments preferred

8. Do you have Dairy Manufacturing experience preferred.

9. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
