Job Description
The Tool & Die Maker will be responsible for building and repairing a variety of jigs fixtures tools and dies. This role involves assembling and testing complex tools and dies on manufacturing equipment ensuring that they meet strict specifications and tolerances.

Responsibilities
- Plan and perform bench and machine operations for constructing adjusting and repairing tools jigs fixtures and gauges
- Set up and operate machinery including lathes milling machines shapers and grinders
- Fit and assemble jigs fixtures tools and dies ensuring product specifications are met
- Visualize finished jobs and perform necessary calculations for adjustments
- Interpret blueprints and verbal instructions to complete tasks
- Perform precise machine operations while maintaining close tolerances
- Detect and correct faulty operations or defective materials
- Assist in training Tool Room Apprentices
- Collaborate with tool designers for input on newly formed parts
Qualifications
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury
- Good attendance record is essential
Education Requirements
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent four years of Tool & Die experience in the Metal Industry

- Certification as a Tool & Die Maker or equivalent experience required
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of four years of Tool & Die work experience in the Metal Industry
