Job Description
As a Senior Data Engineer at Acumatica you will have the opportunity to work on designing implementing and operating a stateoftheart data platform lakehouse infrastructure and associated processes You will be able to design implement and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures for Acumaticas Data Lake House.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering cloud technologies and experience working in SaaS environments. They will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure efficient data flow robust data pipelines and enable real time analytics predictive analytics and machine learning & gen AI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop & optimize a unified data lakehouse framework combining storage & analytical processing.
- Build & maintain realtime ETL pipelines using model tools (Apache Spark DBT).
- Integrate data from multiple internal and external data systems into lakehouse environment.
- Deploy lakehouse architectures leveraging Iceberg Repositories and other cloud storage platforms.
- Implement monitoring tools to ensure data quality & reliability.
Qualifications :
- 5 years in data engineering with expertise in data lakehouse or modern data architecture.
- Handson experience with tools like Iceberg or Delta Lake.
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Data Engineering or a related field.
- Strong skills in SQL Python Java and distributed computing frameworks.
- Proficiency with orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication & collaboration abilities with remote team members.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to manage complex projects.
