Job Description

Join Western Digitals People Solutions team as a Director Business & People Partner (BPP) providing strategic partnership to senior leaders in Corporate Services focused business units. In this highly visible and global role you will lead a talented team of Business & People Partners to drive strategic initiatives that result in business value and impact. As a trusted advisor and consultant to senior leaders you will help define a world class people strategy and plans that deliver sustained impact in attracting engaging and developing our workforce.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic HR partner to one or more senior executives.
  • Actively engage business leaders to plan and execute effective business strategies that align with global people solutions priorities and drive business results.
  • Leverage deep understanding of the business to translate and drive clear businessfocused talent engagement and organizational strategies that achieve business outcomes using data to drive insights and actions.
  • Drive the BU talent agenda and provides leadership on talent management including assessing developing coaching and rewarding global talent.
  • Forge strong partnerships with teams across the People Solutions ecosystem including COE and other partners to identify and deliver fit for purpose solutions.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives with a focus on culture inclusion leadership capabilities and engagement.

Qualifications :

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent with Masters degree or relevant certification preferred
  • 1012 years of experience in Human Resources or relevant experience with at least 46 years leading/managing teams.
  • Demonstrates an inclusive leadership style with an emphasis on results and developing high performing team members.
  • Experience working and navigating matrixed and global teams experience in working with teams in India Israel and Asia are a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in developing cutting edge global strategy and driving process improvements in a global workplace.
  • Experience leading transformation and change initiatives.
  • Proven track record of influencing leading and facilitating large scale strategic initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and collaborative skills including strong presentation skills across levels with an ability to persuade and influence and the ability to build alignment enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Goaloriented proactive accountable and passionate about driving results.
  • Strong team leadership expertise in coaching and developing others toward future professional growth and learning.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • An agile and continuous learner with personal resilience and an ability to deal with ambiguity.
