Job Description

American Hydrotech A Sika Company is a manufacturer of high quality waterproofing products and garden roof assemblies

The Sales Technical Representative will be responsible for promoting specifying and selling roofing and waterproofing systems to commercial industrial and institutional clients. This role involves providing technical support building strong customer relationships and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in protected membrane roofing and waterproofing systems excellent sales skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively. 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the low slope roofing and waterproofing market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors architects consultants and building owners.
  • Conduct product presentations demonstrations and training sessions for clients and industry professionals.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to customers regarding product selection application and installation.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of sales activities customer interactions and project progress.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance market conditions and customer feedback.

Qualifications :

  • Highly motivated selfstarter who is an active team player with good verbal phone presentation and written communication skills.
  • Indepth knowledge and expertise in low slope roofing systems waterproofing products and related materials.
  • 3 to 8 years of progressively increasing experience is desired.
  • Detail oriented and good with numbers organized and enjoy being a part of a very fastpaced business environment in which multitasking is the daily norm.
  • Computer skills needed include Microsoft Office package concentrating on Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.  AutoCAD and/or SalesForce.com experience is desirable.
