We are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Finance Counsel to join one of our prestigious clients Real Estate Finance Practice Group. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team on sophisticated real estate finance transactions within a collaborative and innovative environment.

In this position you will:

• Lead transactions for lenders from inception through closing and postclosing phases.
• Handle loan origination for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions including mezzanine loans and preferred equity deals.
• Manage asset management workouts and secondary market repurchase facility work.
• Draft negotiate and review a wide range of financial agreements and transaction documents.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients regarding exit strategies and market developments.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver highquality clientfocused legal services.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this Commercial Real Estate Finance Counsel role is a highly motivated legal professional with significant transactional real estate finance experience and a collaborative clientfocused approach.

Key attributes of the ideal candidate include:

• Experience:
  • 3 years of broad real estate finance experience.
  • Expertise in loan origination mezzanine loans preferred equity asset management and workouts.
  • Experience managing large structured finance transactions from inception through closing.
• Credentials:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active California bar membership in good standing or eligibility to waive into the jurisdiction.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex financial agreements.
  • Strong knowledge of structured commercial real estate finance transactions and secondary market repurchase facility work.
