The school founded in 2016 is a K12 international school located at the foot of the picturesque and historic YuQuan Mountain Haidian District in Beijing. The campus is 200000 square meters of beautiful gardens that integrate natural ecology cultural heritage and modern beauty with 140000 square meters of green space.
The school curriculum is organized into the Elementary School grades K5 the Middle School grades 68 and High School grades 912. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Educations nineyear compulsory education program the curriculum is built on the strength of both Chinese and Western education.
For Elementary and Middle School the school follows a bilingual program using the US Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards along with the Chinese National Curriculum. For High School the school follows the US Common Core and College Board AP curriculum and also offers the UK IGCSE and ALevel UK programs.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fouryear degree from an accredited university
- Bachelor of Education PGCE Teaching license: QTS national/state teaching license/certificate or equivalent
- Three years of experience teaching in a bilingual school international school or government/state school
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Instruction:
- Plan organize and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons to primary students in all subject areas.
- Foster a love for learning by creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Homeroom Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for students in the homeroom class.
- Monitor and support the overall wellbeing behavior and social development of students.
Curriculum Implementation:
- Implement the schools curriculum effectively incorporating a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate with specialists and other homeroom teachers to ensure a wellrounded educational experience for students.
Parent Communication:
- Establish and maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians.
- Conduct regular parentteacher conferences and provide updates on student progress.
Student Assessment:
- Assess and monitor student progress through various formative and summative assessments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
Classroom Management:
- Create a wellorganized and positive classroom environment that encourages mutual respect and active student engagement.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
Extracurricular Involvement:
- Participate in and support extracurricular activities events and school functions.
- Contribute to the school community beyond classroom responsibilities.
