The Role:
The Hospice Registered Nurse Case Manager is responsible for planning and directing compassionate hospice care supporting patients and their families through individualized care plans and community health education. This role involves conducting patient assessments coordinating with an interdisciplinary team supervising hospice aides and adjusting care plans as needed in collaboration with the Clinical Manager. The RN Case Manager also educates families on endoflife care addressing their concerns with empathy and professionalism. Success in this role requires strong clinical skills effective communication and resilience in managing multiple patient needs and emotionally sensitive situations.
- Wargaming & Experimentation: Designing and executing crossdomain wargames.
- Operations & Intelligence: Providing expertise in operational planning and strategic analysis.
- Regional Planning: Offering subject matter expertise in community planning and environmental initiatives.
- Operational Sustainment Support: Delivering support in operational planning and professional services.
- Security Advisory Services: Managing the physical security of classified materials and controlled areas.
- Systems Engineering and Project Management: Developing and maintaining simulation and training scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on designated terrorist organizations providing consultation on terrorism and counterterrorism operations.
- Coordinate external subject matter expertise on terrorism for key projects ensuring alignment with NATOs Tier approach and leveraging knowledge across NATO and external entities.
- Advise and support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives focusing on WDA Lines of Delivery NWCC timelines and operational challenges linked to specific terror groups.
- Conduct indepth research and analysis on emerging threats adversarial strategies and technological advancements to support NATOs decisionmaking.
- Draft review and finalize highquality deliverables including Red Team reports strategic analyses and wargame evaluations.
- Apply advanced analytical skills to recommend actionable strategies for ACT projects and wargames related to terror groups.
- Provide critical support to NATO HQ and ACT Directorates assisting in planning activities contingencies and exercises.
- Act as a key liaison between the Red Team and other NATO entities fostering coordination and sharing intelligence.
- Deliver specialized operational and analytical support to the Red Team leader enhancing the impact of activities.
- Establish and maintain a repository of Red Team knowledge documenting best practices and lessons learned.
- Support the professional growth of Red Team personnel identifying trends and critical thinking strategies to enhance team capabilities.
Qualifications:
MustHave:
- Active Secret Clearance is required.
- Must hold nationality from a NATO member country.
- Masters Degree in a relevant discipline is mandatory.
- Proven experience working with international teams demonstrating the ability to navigate cultural and organizational complexities.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management including managing complex stakeholder engagements and ensuring deliverables meet high standards.
- Exceptional communication skills both oral and written are essential.
- Extensive research experience in a relevant accredited academic institution or similar organization particularly related to the field or expertise.
- Experience in analysis within corporate government or academic settings specifically focusing on international relations security studies or similar disciplines.
- Background as a fieldgrade officer with expertise in counterintelligence or counterterrorism operations is highly desirable.
- Thorough understanding of NATOs unique structure and work environment including its operational and strategic complexities.
- Experience working within a Strategic Headquarters addressing complex issues related to terrorism.
Day to Day
In this role you will engage with patients and families in the Ontario area assessing patient conditions coordinating with care teams and delivering compassionate endoflife care. Your daily activities will include patient visits care documentation team collaboration and family education

Reporting Structure
The Hospice Registered Nurse Case Manager reports directly to the Clinical Manager or Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) ensuring seamless communication and support in delivering highquality care.
