Position Overview
In this handson role you will focus on MIG welding to fabricate and assemble metal components with precision. Your expertise will ensure each project meets strict specifications and quality standards. Primary Responsibilities
- Perform highquality MIG welding on metal parts and assemblies.
- Accurately interpret technical blueprints and specifications.
- Inspect and measure welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MIG welding equipment for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the team and if needed assist with press brakes laser cutters or turret presses.
- Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean efficient workspace.
Recommended Qualifications
- Solid experience in MIG welding processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to highquality craftsmanship.
- Familiarity with common metal fabrication tools and practices.
- Knowledge of workplace safety protocols in a welding environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Welding certifications particularly in MIG processes (e.g. AWS or equivalent).
- Experience in structural or precision metal fabrication.
- Working knowledge of advanced fabrication tools such as press brakes or laser cutters.
- Skills in diagnosing and repairing welding equipment.
- Training or experience in quality control or advanced welding techniques.
