We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Patient Safety Manager to champion our commitment to a culture of safety and excellence in healthcare.
In this role you will be at the forefront of enhancing patient safety through innovative strategies meticulous analysis and proactive training initiatives. Youll lead the charge in preventing errors mitigating risks and fostering a culture that prioritizes patient wellbeing above all. By influencing leadership and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams you will drive measurable improvements and ensure that our practices align with the highest standards of care.
Monitor and analyze patient safety data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement safety initiatives to reduce medical errors and adverse outcomes.
Conduct comprehensive training programs to educate staff on best practices in patient safety.
Investigate incidents identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with hospital leaders to integrate safety goals into organizational priorities.
Promote a culture of safety that emphasizes transparency accountability and continuous improvement.
Required:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing or a healthcarerelated field.
Minimum of 5 years of acute care hospital experience.
California Safety Card for Fire and Life to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
Masters Degree in Nursing or a healthcarerelated field.
Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS).
At least 2 years of patient safety experience.
