Position: Cardiovascular Technologist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to join one of our prestigious clients team on a fulltime permanent basis.
Position Overview:
As a Cardiovascular Technologist you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to the cardiovascular system. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. This is a fastpaced and dynamic role that requires a high level of technical expertise attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms stress tests and echocardiograms
Assist physicians during invasive procedures such as cardiac catheterizations and angioplasties
Monitor patients vital signs and assist with administering medications during procedures
Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in cardiovascular procedures
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of procedures
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Educate patients about procedures risks and aftercare instructions
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Keep uptodate with advancements in cardiovascular technology and procedures
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field
Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist
Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy physiology and pathology
Experience with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a fastpaced and highpressure environment
Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Proficient in operating and troubleshooting specialized equipment
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
