Position: RRT/Respiratory Therapist
Contract Details: Full time 40 hours per week
Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our clients team on a fulltime basis. As an RRT you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients of all ages from newborns to the elderly in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on the patients condition and needs
Administer respiratory treatments including oxygen therapy aerosol therapy chest physiotherapy and mechanical ventilation
Monitor and adjust ventilator settings to ensure proper oxygenation and ventilation
Perform arterial blood gas analysis and interpret results to make appropriate treatment adjustments
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and timely
Maintain knowledge of current respiratory therapy techniques equipment and medications
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols in all patient interactions
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
Valid state respiratory therapy license
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RRT in a healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques equipment and medications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Flexibility to work rotating shifts weekends and holidays as needed
BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience with electronic medical records is preferred
