As a Security Alarm Installer youll work under the guidance of the Service Delivery Program Manager dedicated to providing expert installation troubleshooting maintenance and repair services for lowvoltage systems. These systems include but are not limited to networking infrastructure surveillance cameras servers NVRs access control systems and audiovisual technologies. The role demands a proactive approach with individuals expected to operate independently making informed decisions in the field while also ensuring the highest standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will act as an effective intermediary ensuring seamless communication and service delivery to our toptier clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain security systems meeting quality expectations and client requirements.
- Work collaboratively with clients architects and engineers to understand and meet project needs.
- Craft detailed work plans for security system installation and maintenance organizing resources and timelines effectively.
- Offer handson technical support troubleshooting issues that arise in security systems.
- Adhere to safety codes and industry best practices during all tasks.
- Handle aspects of financial tracking including timekeeping invoicing and expense monitoring to support project financial health and client trust.
- Apply quality assurance measures to deliver toptier security solutions.
- Support project leads by providing reliable assistance and expertise throughout the project cycle.
- Perform site evaluations and supervise the deployment and functional testing of security apparatus.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain consistent communication with all involved parties.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in surveillance systems access control or related fields.
- Strong background in physical security hardware is preferred.
- Proficiency with testing equipment such as Fluke testers meters and OTDRs.
- Familiarity with industrystandard tools and equipment.
- Exceptional mechanical troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Understanding of relay logic and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Certifications or training in Genetec Software House Lenel Feenics Milestone and Avigilon are appreciated.
- FirstAid CPR and OSHA 10 certifications are advantageous.
Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to the state of Arizona from time to time.
- Competency in computer use and communication in English.
- Valid drivers license and adherence to the companys Fleet Safety Program.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role including lifting climbing and working in varied environments.
- Commitment to a drugfree safetyfocused work ethic.
