Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Sous Chef you will play a crucial role in supporting the Chef de Cuisine in all aspects of kitchen operations ensuring the highest standards of food quality presentation and service. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional who thrives in a fastpaced highpressure environment and is eager to contribute to our continued success.
- Supervise the daytoday operation of all sections within the kitchen overseeing all aspects of food production hygiene and cost control;
- Oversee the quality and continuity of the dishes;
- Plan and organize the work in Grand Caf kitchen reporting to the Chef de Cuisine;
- Participate with your creativity in the creation of new dishes for the menu;
- Display a passionate fun and enthusiastic approach to cooking in order to motivate the team and create an enjoyable cohesive and supporting working environment to work in;
- Act as a role model and mentor to junior members of the brigade in order to guide and support them in their personal and career development.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant;
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training;
- Strong leadership and communication skills;
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for culinary;
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks;
- Knowledge of modern cooking techniques and trends;
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation;
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language Dutch is a plus.
