Job Description
Summary
Serves meal to residents based upon the residents prescribed dietary regimen and food
allergies providing residents with the ultimate dining experience.
Essential functions
Prepare utility area.
Ensure menu is on the chalkboard.
Check dietary roster.
Prepare iced tea juice coffee and tea.
Fill and maintain supply of condiments.
Assist cook as needed.
Conduct quality check on tables
Provide gracious table service.
Clean the Dining Room as scheduled.
Reset Dining Room tables
Clean the Kitchen as scheduled.
Clean the microwave.
Clean the coffee machine.
Clean the juice machine.
Set up and maintain the snack hutch.
Set up the hydration cart at 2:00 PM
Set up tray service.
Assist resident in a medical emergency.
Notice residents eating habits.
Follow cleaning schedules.
Support events as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Experience:
Six months related experience or training
Specific business experience with older adults or in the retirement housing industry
preferred.
Education:
High School education or GED
