Laboratory Analyst I AsbestosPLM Eurofins Environment Testing Fort Mill SC

Eurofins CEI Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Analyst in Fort Mill South Carolina. The Analyst will use polarized light microscopes (PLM) for asbestos analysis. 

PLM Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform sample login as needed
• Examine bulk samples under stereoscope and make visual observations
• Prep samples for PLM (polarized light microscopy) examination according to regulations
• Record all optical properties per NVLAP requirements
• Provide asbestos identification and quantification
• Perform QC analysis and review reports
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent Bachelors degree in Biology or other sciences preferred
• Ability to differentiate between colors

Requirements:

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement including the ability to read write and speak in English

Position is fulltime Monday Friday day shift.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Fort Mill SC are encouraged to apply.  

Pay range: $1820/hr.

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes the actual base salary may vary based upon but not limited to relevant experience and skill set base salary of internal peers business sector and geographic location.
