Job Description
Bosch Research and Technology in Pittsburgh is seeking a passionate experienced researcher intern to contribute to applied cryptography security privacy and machine learning projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to conduct applied research with realworld impact on Boschs business.
Our team works on diverse research initiatives including automotive system security IT security applications and security for and with machine learning. We especially encourage applicants with a track record of designing building and evaluating secure systems to apply.
Qualifications :
Required Qualification
- Expertise in Security: Strong knowledge of hardware security particularly in the area of physical sidechannel analysis and countermeasures
- Machine Learning Proficiency: Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning principles algorithms and their applications in security contexts
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in highlevel programming languages especially Python with experience in frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
Desired Qualification
- Enrollment: Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
- Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge and practical experience with modern deep learning models and frameworks.
- Track Record: Demonstrated capability in contributing to innovative solutions through a strong publication record in reputable conferences/journals or evidence of impactful contributions such as patents or opensource projects.
Additional Information :
The U.S. base salary range for this intern position is $26.50 $58.00 hourly in Pittsburgh. Within the range individual pay is determined based on several factors including but not limited to type of degree work experience and job knowledge complexity of the role type of position job location etc. Your Hiring Manager can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.*
