What a Business Development Leader does in Visa:
Reporting to the Head of Financial Institutions in Malaysia this role will be entrusted with a key portfolio of responsibilities including relationship management and the advancement of sales disciplines.
Relationship management for a group of assigned accounts and work on growing overall Client volumes across all products (Debit Credit Prepaid & Commercial)
Develop and maintain relationship between VISA and the clients through deep client engagements across client organization and all relevant stakeholders
Contribute to development production and implementation of initiatives outlined in Country and Account Plans
Gather ongoing intelligence monitor and analyse competitor strategies as well as to lead strategic responses in ensuring Visas competitiveness
Attend to all client queries and issues and provide timely and efficient solutions
Develop an understanding of client strengths and opportunities and partner them to maximize their business potential
Expand the penetration of existing as well as emerging products within current and new accounts
Provide periodical reports (Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly) as agreed with Manager
Contribute to the development of functional strategy
Working closely with Marketing Product Consulting & Analytics Commercial & Money Movement and other functions you will be responsible for championing and leading the product and marketing development strategy of:
New product penetration within current and new accounts or
Expanding the penetration of existing products within current and new accounts
Focus on advocacy to lay the foundation for the next phase of growth
Establish alliance partners (nonbanks technology service providers merchants) and create new business opportunities for growth of Visa business
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
