With anticipated high growth in the upcoming years SIXT is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Category Manager to lead and optimize procurement strategies within the Construction department. This key role will ensure efficiency costeffectiveness and strategic supplier relationships to support SIXTs expansion across the US. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- You translate corporate planning into a groupwide procurement roadmap for the Construction & Real Estate division and act as a business partner to internal stakeholders managing global requirements and ensuring quality standards are met across procurement projects
- You monitor markets to identify conventional and innovative strategies and partners including refurbishment new construction measures and operational supply areas (energy security cleaning and facilities)
- You conduct RFx tenders auctions and lease negotiations as needed while supporting rollouts and implementing the groupwide eSourcing and eProcurement strategy
- You conduct annual negotiations with existing partners and intermediaries supporting international subsidiaries in their procurement activities while improving the cost structure of SIXT
- You develop and implement product group strategies with groupwide responsibility and ensure alignment across all regions
- You review and optimize our international quality standards and implement them with our local partners and take on groupwide responsibility for the development of a product group strategy and ensure its implementation
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- Experience You have proven experience in construction Furniture Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) and real estate procurement with several years of professional experience in a comparable role managing the full cradletograve procurement process (from initial planning to project closeout)
- Technical Proficiency You have a comprehensive understanding of product groups within the construction and real estate sectors enabling effective supplier management sourcing strategies advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel with the ability to create detailed presentations and analyze complex data
- Soft Skills You have exceptional negotiation skills with a strong focus on cost optimization and achieving valuedriven outcomes; You are highly resilient under pressure demonstrating excellent team collaboration assertiveness and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments
- Commitment to Excellence You are adaptable to agile work environments and comfortable handling shortterm project changes with professionalism and experience
- Travel You areflexibleand willingto travel up to 25% & authorization to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship requirements
