This position as a Cocktail Server is for a passionate food service individual who will provide an exceptional experience to our guests.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards (i.e. FAME LQA guidelines).
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
- Anticipate guests needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests however busy and whatever time of day.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Be familiar with all Hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
- Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items liquor brands beers and nonalcoholic selections available in the assigned outlet.
- Maintain knowledge of the particular characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list.
- Maintain complete knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations particularly those prohibiting service to minors intoxicated persons and drunk driving.
- Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers proper table set ups room capacity hours of operation menus price range and dress code of assigned outlet.
- Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies. Keep bank secure at all times.
- Maintain complete knowledge of P.O.S. (MICROS) and manual systems
Qualifications :
- High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.
- Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- 1year experience as a Cocktail Server Food Server or Host/Hostess.
- Fluency in English both verbal and nonverbal.
- Experience in bartending and handling cash.
- Certification in an alcohol awareness program.
- Certification of previous training in liquor wine and food service.
- Food handling certificate.
- Certification of CPR
- Provide legible communication.
- Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers/point of sales system.
- Compute basic arithmetic.
