Job Description
Required URGENTLY ITI Electrician for a reputed Company :
Qualification : ITI Diploma in Electrical/Electronics
Experience : 2 4 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
Location : PUNE
1. Job Purpose
- Overview:
The ITI Electrician will be responsible for the electrical maintenance troubleshooting and repair of machines cranes and other factory equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations at the Ambadwet factory. This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance adhering to safety standards and collaborating with the production and mechanical maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
2. Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repair:
- Conduct routine maintenance troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems in machines cranes and other equipment.
- Inspect and replace faulty components such as wiring switches relays and motors.
Preventive Maintenance:
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime.
- Keep records of maintenance activities and recommend improvements to prevent recurring issues.
Installation & Upgradation:
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines and electrical systems.
- Perform electrical upgrades and modifications as required.
Compliance & Safety:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standards while working on electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with factory electrical codes and regulations.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain an adequate inventory of electrical spare parts and tools.
- Report shortages or requirements to the supervisor.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate with the mechanical maintenance team and production staff to minimize equipment downtime.
- Support other maintenance activities such as HVAC or lighting systems as needed.
3. Special Skills:
Experience with cranes heavy machinery and production line equipment is preferred.
4. Working Conditions
- Work Environment: Requires working in shifts including weekends as per operational needs.
- Physical activity such as climbing or working in confined spaces may be required.
