Job Description

The Training Coordinator will support the Training Lead in managing daily project tasks and contributing to the successful development and delivery of training programs. This role involves creating impactful learning experiences coordinating training initiatives and ensuring smooth collaboration among stakeholders.

This is an initial 6 month contract extendable up to 24 months.

Responsibilities

  • Design develop and organize engaging instructorled training materials and storyboards for elearning modules.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather insights and create effective blended learning solutions.
  • Conduct needs analyses using enduser feedback and field interactions to refine learning strategies and curriculum.
  • Develop training content tailored to various audiences selecting the most effective delivery medium.
  • Build and prepare training materials using SAP Enable Now.
  • Implement customized education programs utilizing Adult Learning Principles and bestpractice delivery techniques.
  • Maintain and manage the training delivery calendar in coordination with the Training Lead.
  • Partner with Service Integrators the Province of Manitoba and other government entities to design instructional content and approaches.
  • Perform training needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate TraintheTrainer sessions and oversee fullscale training delivery during project phases.
  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships by providing consistent support to the Training Lead and ERP program delivery team.
  • Lead formal reviews of training materials incorporating revisions and updates as needed.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in education training instructional design or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a training coordinator or management role.
  • Proven experience in developing training materials including manuals presentations and elearning content.
  • Proficiency in training design principles and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with training authoring tools and LMS platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Excellent presentation verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience delivering training sessions inperson and virtually with adaptability to various learning styles.
  • Knowledge of Public Service Environment training practices.
  • Proficiency with collaboration and project management tools including Microsoft Teams Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint and Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Training Coordinator in the Public Sector.
  • Expertise in blended learning approaches and leveraging technology for training delivery.
  • Relevant certifications in training instructional design or education.
