Location: Tuas West of Singapore
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Procurement
- Perform monthly negotiation of ocean freight
- Perform monthly negotiation of ocean freight
- Purchasing & Logistics
- To issue Purchase Order for indirect spend packaging & trading goods in timely manner
- Follow up with supplier regarding delivery & arrange shipment accordingly.
- Communicate to internal stakeholders regarding incoming shipments & price enquiries.
- Assist with new vendor application in system.
Qualifications :
- Candidates with an engineering or supply chain background are preferred.
Additional Information :
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required; both verbal and written.
- Able to influence others.
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint
- Must be a team player willing to ask for help when needed and focus on learning about what Procurement & Supply Chain entails and has to offer!
