Job Description
The Endava Google Cloud team is on a mission to assist companies in transforming how they deliver products to their customers. We seek an accomplished technologist to join our new multicloud Infrastructure and Delivery Unit tasked with delivering Cloud Landing Zones and modernization projects for various key accounts and industry domains.
This presents a marketfirst opportunity to serve as an infrastructure subject matter expert providing technical guidance on solutions design governance security operations and cost control best practices. Your contributions will significantly impact the continued growth of our GCP capability as we expand in the Australian region.
We are currently accepting applications for this permanent position from candidates located in Sydney Melbourne or Brisbane. We endorse a hybrid work model to promote a healthy worklife balance.
Responsibilities:
- Work with customers to design and build cloudbased infrastructures and landing zones
- Assist with the creation of Infrastructure architectures and technical documentation
- Design and implement:
- Secure cloud foundational cloud implementations
- Automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications
- Cloudready applications architecture
- Deliver endtoend cloudbased infrastructure management solutions
- Present Infrastructure modernization strategy to Clevel executives
- Improvements to monitoring logging and observability in Client environments
- Defining and implementing cloud infrastructure governance and building deployment standards
- Working crossfunctionally with our delivery management team.
Qualifications :
What skills and experience do you need
- Handson Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development
- Experience with virtualization: servers storage networks
- Google Cloud Platform certification along with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience using its suite of tools is required.
- Experience with infrastructurebased processes such as:
- Monitoring
- Capacity planning
- Performance tuning
- Disaster Recovery
- Data centre exit
- Experience with Googles Cloud Foundation Toolkit and Landing Zone implementations
- Experience with data centre exit strategies
