Responsibilities
- Estimate and manage bridge and road construction projects from start to finish
- Review project plans specifications and other documents to develop accurate cost estimates
- Analyze and interpret project blueprints drawings and specifications to accurately estimate material labor and equipment costs
- Prepare takeoffs scope of work and bid packages for projects
- Communicate with subcontractors suppliers and vendors to obtain quotes
- Analyze bid results prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates for clients
- Monitor project progress and communicate with clients subcontractors and project team members
- Develop project leads and coordinate all project activities including scheduling budgeting and quality control
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of project documentation including contracts and reports
Qualifications
- Minimum education level of a bachelors degree in construction management civil engineering or a related field
- 35 years of experience in bridge and road construction estimation
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans blueprints and specifications
- Familiarity with contract and subcontract documents terms and conditions
- Experience with SelfPerforming or Specialty Contractor
- Experience in sales/marketing is a plus

- Bachelors degree in construction management civil engineering or a related field
