The Mill Manager will oversee the operations of our underground Zinc operation located in Gouverneur NY. This role requires a dedicated professional who will manage a team ensure production efficiency and maintain highquality standards. As a key member of the operations team you will work closely with various departments to maximize production opportunities and uphold safety and environmental protocols.

Responsibilities
- Manage mill personnel including supervisors lead millwrights and laboratory technicians
- Monitor milling processes to maintain or increase production efficiency
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control in mill operations
- Collaborate with Mine and Shaft Departments to minimize production interruptions
- Oversee maintenance planning and address production issues
- Maintain chemical inventory and manage metallurgical accounting
- Provide metallurgical data to the A/R Department for invoicing
- Communicate production schedules and inventories to Shipping Department
- Stay current with industry practices and technology
- Coordinate with Environmental Department on water quality and treatment
- Budget planning for operations and compliance with policies
- Ensure the safety of all employees and contractors
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A bachelors degree in chemical or mechanical engineering is preferred
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with milling and maintenance operations and flotation operations is a plus
- Proven ability to work in a teamoriented environment
- Authorized to work in the U.S. on a fulltime basis
- Valid drivers license required

- Bachelors degree in chemical or mechanical engineering preferred
