Responsible for the leading the Citrix team in daily activities projects and special assignments.
Leads and plans the maintenance of systems that provide for delivery of client software and applications to end users remotely.
Develops standards identifies and corrects problems seeks opportunities for improvement and proposes change.
Develops and maintains cooperation and trust between team members and work groups by working collaboratively with all parties.
Responsible for the effective provisioning installation/configuration operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure in both physical and virtual in a Windows and Linux environment.
Recommends upgrades or enhancements that support the technical environment and meet ConfigureIncs clients business needs.
Supports the Citrix infrastructure and hosted client/end user environments such as XenApp VDI Imprivata and application integration.
Configures & manages the infrastructure and monitors performance of all systems to ensure availability of data applications and computing resources.
Aids project teams with technical issues and provides onthejob training to junior staff.
Provides Tier 3/2 technical support and 24x7 oncall services for supported environments.
Experience with Global Server Load Balancing/GTM Local load balancing/LTM SSL acceleration HTTP compression/caching and DNS
Experience with enterprise load balancers such as Citrix ADC/Citrix NetScaler and F5
Knowledge of TCP as it pertains to packet inspection and network/applications
Experience programmatically configuring Application Delivery Controllers (e.g. APIs scripting)
Preparing the incident report / root cause analysis reports
Applying system patches
Answering technical queries of business users and work to fix the issues being faced by them.
System performance tuning.
Troubleshooting any reported issues applying approved processes
Work in global environment and interface with teams across time zones to support the system
General Requirements:
Based on broad objectives from Management technical staff and end users design solutions to complex technical problems. Identify define and analyze complex problems and provide solutions which require a high level of ingenuity and innovativeness.
Recommend strategies for the continued improvements in the reliability and scalability of assigned network systems/platforms (includes trouble ticket resolution and network service availability). Responsible for developing appropriate monitoring tools comparison matrices for assigned platforms.
Review recommend coordinate and implement designs and analysis related to specific area of responsibility. Prepare plans for installation or migration of new systems. (Includes network analysis design and build phases).
Ensure that departmental and standards are documented designed distributed and updated on a regular basis for assigned applications/systems/platforms. Implements IT Security best practices.
Ensure assigned applications/systems/platforms are recoverable in the event of a disaster emergency or testing sequence. Maintain DR consistency within IT and ensure adherence to corporate DR plans.
Manage inscope networks and systems in accordance with the formal change management procedures and processes.
Provide timely status reports regarding projects and activities
Education
BachelorsDegree : Computer Science or related field (Required)
Experience
5 Years experience with Windows Server Management (Preferred)
5 years experience with handson experience in Citrix administration (Required)
Around 3 Years experience with VMware or Citrix VDI (Preferred)
Min 2 Years experience with Netscaler (Preferred)/F5 Load Balancers (Required)
3 Years experience in PCI/Financial environment (A plus)
License/Certifications
CITRIX CITRIX Certification (Preferred)
