Job Description
Position: Senior Electrical Engineer
Company Overview:
Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is a leading recruitment and HR consulting firm specializing in the placement of the markets best technology healthcare and finance talent. Currently we are partnering with a large manufacturing client in search of a talented Electrical Engineer with strong experience with ladder logic and programming/troubleshooting PLC (Rockwell and Allen Bradley PLC experience is preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion
Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution lighting and control systems
Conduct feasibility studies cost estimates and technical evaluations
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes standards and regulations
Collaborate with other engineers architects and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project progress
Develop and maintain project documentation including drawings specifications and reports
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
Strong knowledge of electrical design principles codes and standards
Experience with AutoCAD and other relevant software
Excellent project management and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel for project assignments
