Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Technical Engineer to join our team in Bologna Italy. In this role you will be responsible for conducting electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests analysing results and ensuring compliance with international standards.
This position is part of a project to be developed at clients premises.The objective of this client orientation approach is to offer the best solutions availability and closest deal to our clients. The nature of our company would make it possible to enchain different projects even at international scale if that suits you so you will have the opportunity to develop your career both at personal and professional level.
Main tasks will include:
- Ability to analyze EE architectures from EMC point of view and propose design countermeasures (wire harnesses and components);
- Ability to analyze test data from testing and propose issue countermeasures;
- Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions;
- Conducting electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing to ensure the vehicles systems meet the required standards;
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions client specifications in regards of EMC and Regulations such UN ECE R10 CISPR 12 CISPR 25 etc..;
Qualifications :
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field;
- At least 1 years experience in a similar role in the automotive field;
- Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions;
- Ability to make technical decisions and engineering judgments;
- Comprehensive knowledge of EMC testing methodologies and standards;
- Knowledge and experience of product development and/or verification is a merit;
- Knowledge of semianechoic chamber working methodologies and equipment is valuable;
- Wellorganized and root cause analysis skill;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Excellent organization and time management skills;
- Ability to make technical decisions and engineering judgments;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Italian mother tongue;
- Good knowledge of the English language;
