Job Description
Title: Maintenance Technician II
Location: Pleasant Prairie WI
Shift: 3rd (11 PM 7 AM)
Job Overview:
Support manufacturing operations by performing multicraft equipment maintenance with a focus on reliability and preventive measures. Troubleshoot repair and improve production machinery and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; 2year Technical Degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Proficient in computer applications (Word Excel Outlook CMMS).
- Ability to interpret schematics technical drawings and manuals.
- Familiar with shop equipment (drill press band saw power tools).
- Skilled in precision measuring devices and equipment alignment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Capable of training and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment failures.
- Align and maintain mechanical drive systems and lubrication requirements.
- Test and repair electrical systems (e.g. wiring receptacles circuits).
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and recommend process improvements.
- Train and mentor junior technicians.
Quality and Safety:
- Stay updated on maintenance procedures through training.
- Report safety incidents and maintain a safe working environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Meet the demands of industrial maintenance adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.
