Job Summary: RN Med Surg (Nights)

We are hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift on our MedSurg team in Mayfield KY. The RN will deliver highquality patientcentered care including medication administration clinical treatments and assisting with daily living activities. This is a fulltime midlevel position with inperson attendance required.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in KY (or compact state)
• Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred)
• BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 45 days)
• New grads with a provisional KY RN license welcome

Required Skills:

• Performs plan of care intervention including medication administration specimen.
• collection clinical treatments as well as other medical care treatment.
• Plans and documents patient care given.
• Monitors records and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team physician patient and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living including personal hygiene elimination nutrition and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care including patient transfer discharge referral and spiritual/psychosocial needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age culture condition and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional wellbeing of the patient.
