Job Description
Job Overview:
The Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIR) will play a vital role in supporting the organizations mission to foster innovation entrepreneurship and business growth. This position requires seasoned entrepreneurs with a proven track record in launching and scaling businesses to provide expertise mentorship and handson support to aspiring entrepreneurs startups and the organizations programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentorship and Coaching:
- Guide and mentor entrepreneurs startups and small business owners through the development and scaling of their ventures.
- Provide advice on business planning strategy market validation financial modeling and growth.
- Identify potential risks and offer innovative solutions to overcome challenges faced by entrepreneurs.
Program Development and Facilitation:
- Design develop and implement entrepreneurship programs and workshops tailored to the needs of the participants.
- Facilitate boot camps seminars and oneonone sessions to transfer knowledge and expertise effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance program offerings ensuring alignment with market trends and participant needs.
Strategic Support:
- Contribute to strategic planning for entrepreneurshiprelated initiatives and events.
- Assist in building strong networks within the entrepreneurial ecosystem including investors mentors and strategic partners.
- Act as a bridge between entrepreneurs and resources such as funding technical support and business services.
Community Engagement:
- Actively participate in community events networking opportunities and public speaking engagements to promote the organizations vision and programs.
- Serve as a role model demonstrating leadership and innovation to inspire entrepreneurs.
- Assist in creating a collaborative and supportive environment for entrepreneurs within the organization.
Operational and Reporting Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of program participants documenting key insights and successes.
- Provide regular feedback and updates on program outcomes to stakeholders and management.
- Support marketing and communication efforts by sharing insights testimonials and success stories from the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Qualifications :
- Proven track record as an entrepreneur with successful business ventures.
- Strong knowledge of business operations strategy and scaling techniques.
- Excellent communication coaching and mentorship skills.
- Ability to work with diverse teams and participants across various industries.
- Demonstrated ability to foster relationships within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
