This work required for the Design Engineering activities to provide onsite build support for electrical systems including fault finding and validation. In this active role you will apply your demonstrated experience within our collaborative and vibrant team to promote sustained growth. - Technical support for debugging and root cause evaluation of issued discovered on build.
- Record anomalies in project onenote when discovered
- Record all CAN traces and Bus queries as directed by the Systems Engineers Team.
- .Software and Configuration activities at End of Line.
- Fault finding and analysis during Proto build as directed by the team.
- Supporting build site meetings and issue resolution workstreams.
- Support development and delivery of high quality Proto units.
Qualifications :
- Automotive experience in a position of accountability.
- An electrical engineering or technical qualification Automotive bias.
- Demonstrable understanding of vehicle electrical feature/functions.
- Broad understanding of failure modes and effects management in the context of development of validation methods.
- Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic concepts and knowledge of CAN bus and associated tool (CANalyser etc).
- Familiar with engineering problem solving activities (ABA test continuity testing).
- Independent worker self starter who can easily learn new tasks.
- Excellent communication skills local and international.
