You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailData and Business Intelligence manager is an analytics team leader with strong business acumen and understanding serving as a liaison amongst business priorities (top company objectives) technical resources and internal project stakeholders. The person in this role oversees leading the practice and introducing the overall analytics and BI vision for a solution of optimal process and data flow integration and utilization.
The person will support dedicated analytics team within their perimeter and business stakeholders by mapping out solutions to some of their complex technical challenges and providing direction mitigating risk and offering data product tailored for business division needs.
The person in this role will have strong business and process understanding for specific business domain and will translate analytics needs into outcomeoriented data products.
Responsibilities
Lead manage and grow endtoend delivery team structured of data engineers analytics and BI developers to deliver fit for purpose data products for internal stakeholders and external sponsors/customers.
Analyse internal stakeholder requirements for data driven decision making pain points and areas of improvement.
Understand and has overview of whole Ergomed data flow mapping creating improvements design evaluating methodologies and best practices in daily work.
Assuring seamless process integration within data analytics tools stack to improve data driven decision making.
Prepare endtoend process and data flow specifications for team members and ensure optimal integration with current systems and applications.
Testing and evaluating developed solutions.
Act as a customer/stakeholder facing expert owning overall relationship between crossfunctional departments.
Facilitate strategic business KPIs capability and process architecture improvements with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and providing suggestions and best practices.
Define data governance needs and elements to assure quality of data driven decision making process.
Design specify build and test references architectures howto and demo scenarios for automated solutions.
Assure balance of technical depth and interpersonal skills to drive collaboration and coordinate with stakeholders throughout the organization.
Work closely with IT infrastructure and businessoriented teams to align architecture and operations with business strategic goals.
Provides data architecture support and expertise to all major enterprise projects and ensures enterprise data is structured for ease of use.
Provides leadership to teams of data/business analysts helping them enhance their skills and improve Ergomed analytics maturity through BIasaselfservice delivery model.
Conducts surveys and focus groups to gather information about internal stakeholders and key principals preferences and needs regarding analytics.
Develops training programs to help employees use data analytics effectively and efficiently.
Qualifications :
Applies knowledge of systems processes data and customer requirements to uncover problems and recommends data product or solutions.
Intermediate experience of data integration tools usage and its best practices.
Intermediate experience and understanding of mapping technology (data analytics BI) to solve business needs.
Ability to lead and facilitate problem framing with business stakeholders (managers analysts and analytics consumers)
Strong knowledge about design and implementation of modern data architectures and concepts such as cloud services (i.e. AWS OCI Azure GCP) and modern data warehouse tools (Snowflake Databricks)
Intermediate experience working with popular data discovery analytics and BI software tools like PowerBI Tableau Qlik Sense Looker ThoughtSpot and others for semanticlayerbased data discovery.
Expert problemsolving skills including debugging skills allowing the determination of sources of issues in unfamiliar code or systems and the ability to recognize and solve repetitive problems.
Very good business acumen and interpersonal skills; able to work across business division at a senior level to influence and effect change to achieve common goals.
Ability to describe business use cases/outcomes data sources and management concepts and analytical approaches/options.
Analytic Ability can work with data to identify patterns uses judgment to form conclusions that may challenge conventional wisdom and focuses on the crux of issues to identify high leverage intervention points and strategies.
Intermediate knowledge about Data Governance processes and benefits of MDM.
Establishes and enforces data standards naming conventions and data classification frameworks
Conducts data profiling and analysis to assess the quality completeness and accuracy of data assets
Implements and monitors data governance processes including data access controls data retention policies and data life cycle management
Collaborates with IT teams to ensure proper data synchronization across systems
Develops data governance training programs to increase data literacy and educate stakeholders on data management practices
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to write compelling documentation and functional business cases is essential.
Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
Experience:
At least five years of work experience in data management disciplines including data integration modeling optimization and data quality or other areas directly relevant to business intelligence analytics business analysis financial planning or forecasting responsibilities and tasks.
Project experience developing and maintaining analytical platforms with concrete business value impact.
At least seven years of experience working in crossfunctional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders in support of a departmental and/or multidepartmental data management and analytics initiative.
Education:
A bachelors degree in computer science data science software engineering information systems business economics or related quantitative field; masters degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)
