About the Role
We have a new role that will assist the Senior Supply Chain and Logistics Manager in maintaining effective compliant operation of specialist MHRAlicensed facility and associated international shipping/logistics in relation to highvalue pharmaceutical and healthcare products
What will your job look like
- Prepares products for delivery ensuring accurate picking packing and documentation while checking and managing stock deliveries against orders
- Manages safe storage stock rotation and inventory ensuring compliance with temperature controls and maintaining packaging materials
- Adheres to quality standards (GDP HPRA regulatory standards) ensuring integrity in storage and transport especially for temperaturesensitive products
- Collaborates with customers suppliers and logistics providers to ensure costeffective compliant and timely deliveries including import/export documentation
- Identifies and resolves logistical or supply chain barriers to maintain efficient customer service
- Ensures compliance with health and safety standards and facility security processes
- Assists the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager and Quality Manager including handling responsibilities in the managers absence
- Promotes a culture of improvement and attends training to enhance personal and organizational capabilities
- Utilizes company IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics FMD Software) effectively for operational and quality tasks
- Maintains accurate records of activities and completes administrative duties to support compliance and operational efficiency
What will you need to succeed
- Previous experience desirable preferably in a pharmaceutical environment with experience of ambient and chilled storage/supply chain requirements
- Forklift truck licence preferred
- Experience of working to stringent quality standards and keeping records demonstrating compliance is essential
- Good level of literacy and numeracy with good communication skills
- Commercial awareness
- Good planning organisational administrative and recordkeeping skills
- Attention to detail/accuracy in work
- Competency in using common Microsoft IT platforms/systems including Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Dynamics (NAV)
- Resilient with ability to work effectively under pressure and within time constraints
