Job Description
Our client is a leading specialist in the oil and gas retail sector renowned for its innovative solutions and commitment to excellence.
We are seeking a highly motivated and resultsoriented Senior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. In this exciting role you will:
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with business leaders across all departments to understand and support their strategic objectives.
- Provide proactive and insightful legal advice to ensure the companys interests are protected and advanced.
- Draft review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including service agreements supply contracts government contracts sales agreements and joint venture agreements.
- Ensure all agreements are in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Advise on all aspects of Thai law including employment law data privacy and environmental regulations.
- Proactively identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance on new laws and regulations.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes effectively and efficiently.
- Advise on and implement strategies for minimizing legal risks and mitigating potential liabilities.
- Advise on corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Promote a strong culture of compliance within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Law or higher with at least 8 years of qualification experience and a valid Thai Bar license.
- Experience in a multinational company or international law firm is preferred along with experience in the oil & gas industry or retail sector.
- Proven expertise in contract drafting review and negotiation coupled with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Indepth knowledge of Thai law including corporate commercial and employment law with experience in litigation energy transition and managing significant transactions being a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Thai and English strong ethical standards and a proactive and adaptable approach with a strong desire for continuous learning are essential.
