Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Senior Manager - Cloud Security. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading the strategy and implementation of security measures for our cloud environments. This is an excellent opportunity to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our data and applications in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud security strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Monitor and assess cloud security risks and vulnerabilities while implementing mitigating measures
• Collaborate with IT teams to design secure cloud architectures and configurations
• Manage cloud security tools and technologies to enhance security posture
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration tests to identify potential weaknesses
• Stay updated on cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging trends
• Provide guidance and training to team members and stakeholders on cloud security best practices
• Work with compliance and regulatory teams to ensure adherence to relevant laws and industry standards
• Engage with cloud service providers to ensure they meet security and compliance requirements

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Minimum of 9 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on cloud security
In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles, frameworks, and best practices
Experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are highly desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Cloud Security Strategy and Planning
Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud security strategy that aligns with the organization’s overall security objectives and business goals.
Identify potential cloud security risks and vulnerabilities across various platforms (public, private, hybrid clouds) and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
Create a cloud security roadmap, outlining short-term and long-term security goals and projects.
