Qiddiya Investment Company is paving the way for entertainment and leisure in Saudi Arabia, and we are looking for a knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Senior Specialist in Billing and Cost Control. In this role, you will manage the billing processes and ensure effective cost control measures are in place to support our ambitious projects.
The Senior Specialist in Billing and Cost Control will work closely with various teams to ensure accurate billing, monitor project costs, and provide insights into financial performance. Your expertise will help us maintain financial integrity and help inform strategic decisions that drive our initiatives forward.
Responsibilities
- Manage the billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project agreements and timelines
- Conduct regular reviews of project costs against budgets, analyzing variances and providing recommendations for corrective actions
- Prepare and submit monthly cost reports and billing statements to stakeholders
- Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to develop cost estimates and forecasts, ensuring alignment with project objectives
- Implement billing controls and procedures to enhance accuracy and prevent discrepancies
- Monitor and manage change orders, ensuring they are properly documented and reflected in the billing process
- Monitor and analyze costs related to facility management operations.
- Prepare and maintain cost reports for management review
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors regarding billing discrepancies. -
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. - Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to billing and cost management
Desired candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in billing and cost control, preferably within large-scale projects
- Strong understanding of billing processes, cost management principles, and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Proficient in billing and cost control software, as well as advanced Excel capabilities
- Strong attention to detail, with proven organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
