Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Join the innovative team at Qiddiya Investment Company as an Associate Director - Commercial, where you will play a critical role in the development and execution of our commercial strategies. As part of our mission to create a leading global entertainment destination, you will oversee various projects aimed at enhancing Qiddiya's commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement effective commercial strategies for designated projects to amplify revenue and ensure financial performance
  • Collaborate with project managers and delivery teams to analyze market conditions and project viability, making data-driven recommendations for improvement
  • Review financial proposals, budgets, and cash flows to ensure compliance with established financial targets and objectives
  • Engage with external contractors and vendors to negotiate favorable contract terms and manage contractual relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare detailed reports on commercial performance, including revenue forecasts, cost analysis, and risk assessments
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and potential commercial opportunities
  • Oversee budget management and adherence to financial controls in all commercial activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including governmental entities, partners, and clients to facilitate successful project outcomes
  • Develop and Execute Commercial Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Align commercial goals with the company’s broader strategic objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach across all departments.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, trends, and competitive threats, adjusting the commercial strategy as necessary.
  • Develop pricing strategies, revenue models, and sales forecasting methods to ensure competitive positioning and financial success.

Desired candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Quanity Surveyor, Project Management, Finance, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial management, finance, or related roles in large-scale projects, preferably in the entertainment or real estate sector
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing commercial strategies that drive revenue
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities, with proficiency in financial modeling and commercial analytics
  • Strong leadership qualities and experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems
