Job Description

Roles and responsibilities


Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a diligent and proactive Analyst - Security to join our security team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents and threats to ensure the protection of our information assets. You will work collaboratively with various teams to implement security measures and maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our data.

Your insights and analysis will contribute to creating a secure environment, enabling Qiddiya to achieve its strategic goals without compromising security.

Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure the safety of the facility and its occupants
Conduct regular security patrols of the premises.
Manage access control and visitor registrations.
Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly
Assist in the implementation of security policies and procedures
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
Maintain accurate security logs and reports
Provide support during events and special activities
Security Monitoring and Incident Response
Continuously monitor security alerts and logs from various sources (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software) to detect and analyze potential security threats.
Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches, ensuring that incidents are documented, contained, and resolved in a timely manner.
Develop and execute incident response plans for potential breaches, including identifying the cause, mitigating damage, and recovering affected systems.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper communication and response to security incidents.
Threat and Vulnerability Management
Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the organization's network, systems, and applications.
Work with IT teams to ensure that vulnerabilities are patched and that critical systems are updated and secured.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends to anticipate and protect against emerging risks and vulnerabilities.
Provide recommendations for improving the organization's security posture based on findings from threat assessments and audits.


Desired candidate profile


A high school diploma or equivalent, relevant security certification
1-3 years of experience in security,or related roles
strong observational skills, and previous experience in facility or security management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of security technologies, protocols, and methodologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, encryption, and access control mechanisms.
Incident Response: Experience in handling and responding to security incidents and breaches, including identifying the scope of damage, mitigating threats, and restoring systems.
Vulnerability Management: Proficiency in performing vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk assessments to identify and address weaknesses.
Network Security: Expertise in securing networks, firewalls, routers, and wireless systems to prevent unauthorized access and threats.
Security Tools: Knowledge of various security tools such as SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds), antivirus software, and threat detection systems.
Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of industry regulations and frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, PCI DSS, and ISO/IEC 27001.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to detect, investigate, and resolve security issues while minimizing risk.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document security incidents, provide reports to management, and deliver security awareness training to employees.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure, particularly when responding to security incidents or breaches.
